INTERNSHIP

IDI designs, develops and delivers training and capacity development programs in developing countries in the areas of Project Management (Appraisal, Supervision, Monitoring & Evaluation), Alternative Dispute Resolution, Legislative Drafting, Corporate Governance, Capital Markets Development, Bank Restructuring and Governance, Privatization and Post-Privatization, Trade/WTO/Trade Facilitation, Social Security/Pension Reform, Anti-Corruption and Good Governance.

IDI has volunteer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and for recent graduates. Openings are for Washington DC office as well as our country offices and representatives in Accra, Antananarivo, Beijing, Bishkek, Bucharest and London.

We prefer - but do not require- applicants to have a background in international training and technical assistance projects. Our goal is to offer our interns a professionally stimulating project, which also involves great deal of networking and communication opportunities.

We accept applications, year-round, from students for a variety of ongoing projects at the Instutute. We are also interested in candidates having foreign language abilities in Arabic, French or Portugese. Students must be at least sixteen years old to work. To apply, mail or email your cover letter, resume, and include number of semester and/or credit hours you've completed, and your most recent transcript.
